Are you passionate about making a difference to young pupils' lives? Do you have experience working with children who display challenging behaviour?

Tradewind is currently working with a large primary school in Northampton who is looking for a full-time member of staff to join their team asap! If successful, you will be working 1:1 pupils in KS2 who display challenging behaviour and on the autistic spectrum.

What we're looking for:

***Positive Role Model to support pupils in a mainstream school

***Passionate and caring personality who wants to make a real difference

*** Some knowledge of SEMH, ADHD and behavioural difficulties

***GBP70 to 80 per day - Post will be for the whole academic year with the potential to go perm

This fantastic multi-cultural School offers a nurturing environment for pupils and staff. There is a number of extra-curriculum activities that are run at the School. They would be keen to see potential members of staff who have experience and a passion for; Sports, Performing Arts and/or Music.

Although this is a large School, generally behaviour and attendance is good throughout the School. However, there is a number of pupils in the upper part of the School who require support in and outside of the classroom due to SEN/additional needs and other factors. You will be employed to work off your own initiative with some guidance, motivate pupils to engage in their work and offer a tailored timetable for children who require an alternative approach.

To be put forward for an interview for this fantastic position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

Min 6 months experience in the last 2 years working with primary aged children
Sports coaching, music and/or performing arts background (highly desirable)
Knowledge of social, emotional, mental health difficulties
Available to commit to full-time work for the full academic year.
