Project Delivery Lead - Change, Risk, Opportunity, Performance, KPI's
A Project Delivery Lead with Change, Risk, Opportunity, Performance, KPI's experience is required to work on a twelve month contract, with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Preston
This is a contract within the Military Air Sector
Overview of the Project Delivery Lead contract role
Seeking a Project Delivery Lead to co-ordinate the Support Solution Capability Development plan across the Military Aircrafts.
Ensuring that our aircrafts can be supported and upgraded to further enhance the capability of our Fast Jets
This role will include managing customer expectations, de-conflicting shared service priorities and ensuring timely upgrades to the support solutions can be delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities for the Project Delivery Lead contract role
The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role. The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:
Responsible for the overall Project Management for the Engineering Integration Service across Aircraft Support Solution Development Programmes
* Primary interface for Engineering Integration Service with the FJS Project Delivery Managers
* Brings project stakeholders together across the Fast Jet Support Service to deliver contract commitments including management of dependencies (both (internal & external).
* Executes Project Delivery, for the Service Statement of Work for all contracts, in accordance with the mandated LCM Framework, Contract Project Management Plan and Risk and Opportunity Management Plan
* Plan and manage the Support Solution Capability Development plan for Fast Jet Support
* Manage & report on performance for the Engineering Integration service broken down by contract for Key KPIs. Own & Manage any Return to Green plans
* Develops clear project risk and opportunity strategies, attends FJS & Contract monthly management risk and opportunity reviews. Accountable for identification and progression of mitigation and realisation actions, estimate for adequate financial contingency provision. (PC enact in Risk Database)
* Manage Transformation Programmes led by their Service including any dependencies between other parts of the business. (may be responsible for IEPs as a Contract owner if wholly owned by that Service)
- Implement planning assumptions & changes for future work into Service Plans.
Highlight to Contract Delivery PM where Supply & Demand issues may affect their programmes.
- provide advice to estimates including maintaining generic service cost metrics or bottoms up detail estimates for bespoke tasks as required
The Individual for the Project Delivery Lead contract role
The candidate must have excellent Microsoft Office Excel and Project skills and also have good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Communication, Team Working and Motivation are essential
The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
