Hours - 08.00am - 4.00pmMonday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Production Planner to join an established and successful manufacturer with a global reputation based in Dogellau. As Senior Production Planner, you will keep production flowing smoothly with the required materials and ensure the optimization of costs. You will create and maintain an inventory schedule by watching trends and customer demands utilizing continuous improvement techniques
Responsibilities:
??Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are communicated and always followed, whilst co-ordinating outstanding issues for supply chain & production requirements.
??Manage and prioritize workloads to deliver the required output to service the external and internal customers.
??Facilitate the development of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
??Advise commercial and escalate teams any customer related problems and assist in their resolution.
??Manage and produce daily/weekly/monthly data from planning and generate all data for any shortages highlighting/escalating any supplier constraints.
??Ensure current run rates are in line with latest capacity modelling and planning.
??Produce a weekly KPI report within the planning function in line with department manager.
??Support development and ensure system integrity is always maintained.
The Candidate:
??Previous experience as a Production Planner.
??PC Literate, including general IT skills- Excel, Word, Outlook.
??General understanding of HACCP, COSHH, QA and Management Procedures.
??General understanding of hygiene & health & safety procedures.
??Ability to improve team performance in terms of line efficiency, cost reduction, waste reduction and quality standards.
??Good literacy and numeracy skills for effective reporting.
