Job Title: Warehouse / Workshop Operative
Location: Kettering
Salary: GBP9.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Thursday (Apply online only) and Friday (Apply online only)
We are looking for the right person to fill the position of Production Operative for our small, friendly company based in Kettering, where they offer a clean working environment
Duties will include:
Using workshop equipment like chop saws, pillar drills and air hand tools.
Produce parts from technical drawings (training provided).
Goods In
Picking and packing
Deliver goods to customers
Occasionally erect Marquees or Temporary Warehouses as part of an installation team
General housekeeping
What we are looking for:
Previous manufacturing or workshop experience.
UK drivers licence, max 3 points (ability to tow a trailer would be advantageous)
Flexible with working hours during busy periods
Able to do some very occasional overnight stays during installs (this is not frequent)
Forklift licence (not essential but would be advantageous)
The job requires you to be on your feet all day and will be physically demanding
Standard working hours are 45hrs during the summer months and
37.5hrs during the winter months
