Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teaching Assistants who are can support monitoring Reading, Mathematics, English Grammar, Punctuation and Phonics.
The successful Intervention Teaching Assistant will assist in the overall support of the class teacher. The role will also involve 1:1 mentoring and small groups focusing on literacy and numeracy. The main aim of this role is to raise attainment with children that have missed school due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The successful candidate must have:
* Recent Teaching Assistant experience, in either EYFS, KS1, KS2
* An understanding of the way that children learn and progress
* An understanding of the National Curriculum
* A caring and nurturing approach
* The ability to identify which subjects need work for individual pupils.

* A teaching assistant qualification or recent experience in this role.
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
