We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our Energy Recovery Facility in Glasgow, working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Energy Recovery Facilities are vital in supporting the UK's ambition to reduce waste in an efficient and effective manner, helping to reduce the impact of waste on climate change. After reducing, reusing and recycling as much as possible, our Energy Recovery Facilities (ERFs) provide the infrastructure to efficiently recover energy from residual waste, meaning landfill becomes the last resort.
Accountable to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities at the GRREC ERF plant, providing support to other disciplines as necessary using experience and skills. You will also act as a connection between the Engineering, EHS and Operations departments during the daily meetings, updating and issuing the daily worksheet.
The planner will constantly monitor and update the maintenance plans and schedules utilising Primavera P6 and CMMS along with strong communication skills to ensure the correct resources are available in a safe and efficient work environment. It is a key role which will also be responsible for some administration tasks for the engineering department such as raising Pos, GRN when goods are received, liaising with suppliers, taking meeting minutes and presenting KPI data.
Our ideal Maintenance Planner will have:
Experience of Holistech web system or similar CMMS and Primavera P6.
An understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, spares material management, asset management tools and techniques.
Fully conversant with CMMS and with P6 Project planning software.
Experience in a planning or scheduling role in a process industry or power plant.
Proficient wit the MS Office suite of applications.
