We are currently looking to recruit in the area for couriers, multi drop drivers and home delivery drivers. We are recruiting for a very well-known UK retailer that is expanding at a rapid pace and needs your help!
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
- Up to 6 shifts a week - Daytime hours
- Routes range from 4hr Collections - 9hr route plans
- Weekly pay
- GBP121.80 - GBP141.80 a day + VAT
- Performance Incentives
- Paid mileage on route
- Paid training provided
- Full support given whilst out on the road
- Parcels sorted in advance to make the loading of your van more efficient

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
We are on the lookout for well-presented courier, multi-drop or home delivery drivers who are willing to go that extra mile in the name of customer service. It is obviously most important that our customers get their parcels on time, but just as important is your attitude to your daily role and your ability to handle responsibility. Being a courier is a big responsibility!
WHAT ARE THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS?
- UK/ EU driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
- No more than 6 driving penalty points
- Agreement to a full CRB check.
- Ability to pass drug & alcohol swab test.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
DO I NEED MY OWN DELIVERY VEHICLE?
Owner Drivers:
- Your van must be a Transit size or larger
- Must have valid Tax & MOT
- Relevant insurance's (Couriers Insurance for Hire and Reward, Goods in Transit, Public Liability).
WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED A VEHICLE?
If you are new to the industry don't worry, we can help!
Essential Transport have links to industry leading courier rental companies that offer fully compliant vehicles with the relevant insurances.
HOW DO I APPLY?
