We are currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Assistant to manage the administration of supplier contracts, raise purchase order requests and help to manage stock levels within the business.

What does the role involve?
As Purchasing Assistant, you will monitor the supply of all orders to customers to ensure the business fulfils the 'on time, in full' delivery promise and that any orders which are under delivered, over delivered or damaged are dealt with in a timely manner. A key element of this role will be to build robust relationships with our sales, finance and quality functions to ensure a good working relationship is maintained at all times.
The successful candidate will require:
• To hold strong IT skills as you will be responsible for updating the SAP with delivery information and will be processing orders and invoices electronically
• Experience in working with supply chain partners and knowledge of purchasing processes and production quotes for customers
• Excellent organisational skills, have a vision for continuous improvement and a good eye for detail
