We are currently looking for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join our clients' existing claims team which is full of dedicated, positive people who enjoy an environment focussed on teamwork and fun!

As a Claims Handler you will be the first point of contact for customers who have suffered a loss following an incident involving their car. You will proactively manage the Policyholders/Third parties repairs throughout as well as Intervene on Third Parties claims.

You will offer all services to repair the Third Parties vehicle when the Policyholder is at fault for the accident. You must be able to obtain the relevant details from them and record this information giving the customer excellent advice and assistance, whilst also assessing liability from the circumstances of the incident.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide advice to customers on making a claim and the processes involved.

* Proactively manage Policyholder and Third parties' repairs and hire.

* Record the information reported concerning the circumstances of the loss.

* Be able to assess liabilityfor an accident and offer advice and guidance to customers giving an objective opinion on prospects and where necessary, advise the customer regarding where liability will rest.

* Validating cover for a claim & identifying possible fraudulent claims to be referred for investigation.

* Instructing suppliers such as Credit Hire & Credit repair organisations along with claimant Personal Injury solicitors.

* Ensuring customers receive the highest level of customer service in accordance with industry and company guidelines.

* Support cost, service & process efficiency projects across the team, as well as having the opportunity to get involved in departmental projects.

* Offer advise of the add-on products they have purchased and how they may be used for the specific claim they have made.

* Maintain Stabilis MGA extended underwriting guide.

* Respond to Stabilis MGA underwriting referral enquiries from brokers.
