Heatseal/ Embroidery Machine Operator in Fulwood Preston.
Fulwood, Preston
Working hours:
14.00-22.30 Monday-Thursday, 14.00-20.00 Friday
Pay rate:
GBP8.91 after 12 weeks GBP9.50
Role:
Operate heat seal and embroidery machines
Work to high-quality standards in line with customer requirements
Accuracy in terms of applying the correct logo, setting up and selecting appropriate threads, framing and position the logo in the required location on the garments
Update work activity on systems ensuring accuracy in the information being confirmed
Garment aftercare - ensure embroidery is trimmed/brushed and any commodity items removed and heat seal is fully applied and relevant packaging and tags remain with garments
Ensure maximum utilization of machinery at all times
General housekeeping of work station and production area
Replenish threads and commodity items within the work station
Ensure minimal wastage and damage of products and commodities.
Work Safely & contribute to overall site Safety Awareness
Apply adequate pressure and ensure an accurate temperature is set to ensure correct affixing to the fabric.
Requirements:
Good numeracy and literacy skills
good communication skills
Attention to detail
Previous experience is essential
Not cold environment
