Exciting and challenging career opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer based in the Hertfordshire HQ of a Brand leader in the design and manufacture of electronic safety systems.
Reporting to the R&D / Development Manager, you will be responsible for the electronic design, development and support of the company's products, from initial concept through to production.
You will create innovative solutions, applying your electronic design engineering experience within a multi-disciplinary team.
You will as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer also provide mentorship and design leadership to other electrical / electronic designers in the team. You will take Leadership and ownership of the design direction and project progress within electrical / electronic aspects of product design.
The successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer will be Electronics Degree or equivalent qualified with proven track record in product design from concept through to manufacture, commercial experience of board level circuit design, analogue and digital is ideal and an understanding of user requirements and concept generation.
If the Senior Electronic Design Engineer has any of the following skills, that would be beneficial, although not essential:
-Altium EDA
-Multisim / Ultiboard
-C - Programming for embedded systems
-C# / MFC - Programming for Windows
