A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineering department with the appointment of a Mechatronics Design Engineer.
As Mechatronics Design Engineer, you will be part of the product development team within R&D, responsible for integration between electrical/electronic and mechanical components/sub-systems to meet defined requirements for a given application.
Further responsibilities will include:
*Develop and assist the development of integrated mechantronic solutions for a defined electric motor/electronics system
*Support, analyze, trouble shoot mechatronic design and fabrication related issues as required within the project
*Review and support mechatronic FMEA requirements and processes and systems level requirements and processes within allocated project
The successful candidate should have a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
You should have knowledge of automotive system/electronics development process, ASPICE and ISO26262 functional safety.
