DSP Engineer
My client is looking for an experienced DSP Engineer to join the team. This role can be fully remote. They are going through an exciting time of growth and are seeking exceptional talent to join a dedicated team of Engineers. We develop design and manufacture high specification Audio Visual equipment from our facility in Poole.
Role & Responsibilities
-DSP algorithm development, implementation and optimisation
-This includes both high-level modelling (MATLAB, C/C++) and assembler level optimisation on the target platforms
-Work with the hardware team, during the design phase, to verify hardware design meets DSP needs.
-Assisting in project planning, scoping and problem solving in terms of software
-Other duties within skill set but not necessarily role scope as and when (creative design input, attending meetings etc.)
Essential Skills
-Excellent demonstrable Embedded C/C++ programming skills
-Solid understanding of fundamental DSP theory
-Strong understanding of software engineering principles
-Several years (minimum 3) commercial experience as an Audio DSP Engineer
-SHARC DSP experience.
-Experience in audio signal processing
-Independent and self-reliant, being able to work without close supervision
