Joining our Construction Management Team, the Team Leader in Plumbing and Construction will take responsibility for the quality control and delivery, on both theory and practical elements, to students on a range of plumbing and construction courses, including on-site work assessment.

We’re looking for someone who holds a recognised teaching qualification and who has experience of teaching plumbing and construction courses in the Further Education sector. You’ll hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area of plumbing and be able to lead a team of staff, to include staff development and setting and monitoring targets.

With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll demonstrate the ability to teach the specified vocational area at a level appropriate to the students and in a way that recognises their different learning needs and abilities. You’ll have knowledge of current assessment strategies and qualifications, and be flexible and responsive when it comes to the change in demands for services and new developments.
