TEACHING ASSISTANT

Level 2 Band 3 £15,773 - £16,089 (35 hours term time plus 6 days)

IMMEDIATE START

We are looking to appoint a hardworking, reliable and caring person who can encourage and motivate young people. Applicants should be able to work as part of a team to support access to learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students.  This could be on an individual basis or as part of classroom support and could involve working with students with a variety of needs including visual impairments, ASD or ADHD.

Applicants should have a basic knowledge of SEND and barriers to learning. Experience of working in an education background would be beneficial but not essential.

Cramlington Learning Village was rated as Good in all categories in its latest Ofsted Inspection.

The successful applicant will have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and be educated to ‘A’ Level standards or beyond.  Experience of working with young people in the 11-18 age range would be advantageous.
