Our client has a long standing presence in the rail industry and is part of a leading global logistics company with sites throughout the UK.
They are currently seeking a Technical Administrator to work with their busy production facility, providing a variety of manufacturing support measures from project tracking to monitoring H&S and booking courses for relevant training needs.
Duties will include:
* Provide Project Management support of each job - design, technical, purchasing, quality, after care support and testing
* Work to and maintain the production schedule.
* Ensure all activities undertaken are fully compliant with the Quality Management System and in accordance with H.S.E standards.
* Generating and reviewing risk assessments, Daily safety audits, behavioural reviews, H&S briefs and disseminating and communicating as necessary.
* Monthly QMS internal audits to include the update and reviews of policies, procedures and risk assessments. To assist with yearly external audits and QA & H&S document updates
* Book First Aid, Fork Lift, Manual Handling training and the upkeep of all training records and certificates
Requirements
* A qualification in H&S such as IOSH
* Knowledge of quality system procedures
* Strong working knowledge of MS applications including Excel and ideally MS Project.
* Experience in a similar manufacturing or H&S environment
