An excellent opportunity for an individual with experience working in a fast moving stores environment to join a FMCG leader who supply their products globally based at a modern facility in Elton, Cheshire.

The role reports into the Store Manager within the (Beverage team). Responsible for delivering the targets in line with overall Group guidelines and ensuring compliance with all department procedures. To carry out tasks in a safe, efficient and timely manner given by the Stores Chargehand or Manager

Qualities we look for;

Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
Counterbalance FLT licence desirable.
Tasks should carried out safely, accurately and in a timely way
Must be a team player with good communication skills
Knowledge of Engineering parts an advantage.

Responsibilities;

Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all areas.
Ensure all safety rules are adhered to.
Updating issues on SAP.
Collate all warranty items for return.
Carry out full engineering stores stock check so all items are counted once a year with the aim of checking critical/high value items more frequently.
Checking, receiving and locating new and replacement stock.
Weekly stock check of Glass dry goods.
Goods outward - issue of goods to employees.
Carry out weekly stock checks on oils and critical consumable items.
Re-stocking of the free issue area.
Off-loading dry goods for Glass and Filling Hall - Dry goods for Filling then labelled and put into Autostore.
Prepare items for despatch and arrange transport for same.
Housekeeping duties.
Control of all work wear and lockers.
Housekeeping in all stores.
