Bid Manager opportunity to work for an established British business with a huge global footprint, within manufacturing.
The client are on a considerable growth path and with this more bid / tender management is required. You will own and manage the planning phase of commercial opportunities through the collation and preparation of quotation, tender and bid documents ensuring the timely delivery of commercially compliant winning bids !
In conjunction with the sales team you will assist in closing sales opportunities, identifying and mitigating any risk and with the ability to understand and disseminate technical documentation.
We are looking for a key bid manager who may be BEng or BSc in a technical field, APM or Prince2 would be desirable. You'll have previous experience of formulating bids, proposals and quotations and understand contract law including export control, incoterms and payment terms mechanisms.
If you have experience of MOD, Naval, Military or Defense contracts this would be an advantage.
Even though there will be some homeworking there will be a requirement to come into the office on a weekly basis
