A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Industrial Designer / Product Designer with a passion for innovation and technical excellence, to join a pioneering start-up!
The role will involve iterating my client's core product, a medical device currently used within laparoscopic surgery, whilst also getting involved in new product design. The Industrial Designer / Product Designer, will work to design and develop prototypes using CAD/CAM software.
This innovative scientific R&D organisation are developing cutting-edge medical device applications that will have an enormous impact on the future of minimally invasive surgery. As the Industrial Designer / Product Engineer you will work to develop an application that will genuinely save lives.
What's required of the Industrial Designer?
- A relevant degree in an applicable field such as Mechanical /Product Design, Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
- Previous experience designing Medical Devices
- Knowledge of ISO13485
- Experience with CAD / CAM Software
- Experience with Physical prototyping
