My client requires a Delivery Driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis.
The duties will involve arriving the Warehouse in Wimbledon, picking the orders, loading them onto the 3.5 tonne Luton Van and delivering to the customer. Upon arrival at the Customer, you will then unload the furniture and install and assemble on site - it is imperative that you have excellent Customer Service skills because customer impression and satisfaction with the service is absolutely key to the position.
Hours - TBC but either 7:00 to 4:00 or 8:00 to 5:00
The role is initially temporary but the company are seeking permanent staff and the salary for the permanent position would be GBP25,000 per annum.
You will need to drive a 3.5 tonne Luton van - initially this is likely to be mainly within London and possibly the Home Counties. As this is a new service, the company require an element of flexibility in order to fulfil the customer expectations etc.
Dress code - smart casual with steel capped footwear (as you are customer facing, it's important to look clean and presentable).
FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES YOU WILL NEED TO BE OVER 25 AND HAVE BEEN DRIVING FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS.
