I am currently in the market seeking an experienced 3rd Line Support Analyst / Infrastructure Engineer. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager you will be supporting 1400 Users and 300 servers. Ensuring that you provide industry leading services to the users and customers. Your role will focus on support, proactive maintenance, development and improvement.

Location - Leicestershire
The main responsibilities are but not limited to:
Provide a 3rd Line Technical Support function, supporting and mentoring the 1st Line Service Desk Analysts, and liaising with 2nd Line support teams to ensure an efficient and robust Incident Management process.
Take an instrumental role in the the migration of office 365 across the business
Act as a point of escalation for the technical Infrastructure support team for Infrastructure related queries
Identify repeat Support Desk tickets devising and executing strategies to resolve, including operational documentation improvements and operational training
Assist with the Support Desk prioritising and allocating support requests alongside the Lead Support Technician
Resolution of issues within SLA including liaising with 3rd party suppliers
Responsible for maintaining and developing the Company's IT based systems against agreed target operating levels
Ensure all servers are operational, backed up daily and patched regularly
Ensure the Company's Disaster Recovery system is maintained and developed
Undertake capacity planning for all storage, compute resources and network bandwidth
System Development underpinned by project planning
Developing Infrastructure system monitoring, performance and capacity management improvements
Creating support documentation, provide training to facilitate handover of solutions to helpdesk Team
Implementation of IT infrastructure solutions according to requirements and design. Creation of detailed technical Change Requests as required. Working with internal staff and third parties as required
Working an adhering to ITIL best practices
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Experience with VMware/Netapp/Cisco USC
Experience with Office 365 Migrations
Strong technical troubleshooting experience
Wintel Administration experience
