WORKSHOP ELECTRICIAN/BUILD ENGINEER
This thriving and ambitious business is looking for a workshop-based Electrician/Build Engineer to join their thriving team.
Reporting to the Systems Manager you will be responsible for building bespoke systems and equipment, both mechanically and electrically. In return you will receive an attractive salary of GBP35-40k + annual bonus scheme + paid overtime + a fantastic working environment.
The successful candidate will be a time-served (or equivalent) Electrician with mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.

Job Description
Working within a multi-disciplined team, you will be involved in projects related to the supply of bespoke liquid process equipment for the company's clients throughout the UK. Whilst the role is heavily workshop based, you will also visit customer sites to aid successful system installation as required.
Key responsibilities:
* Electrical and mechanical build of self-contained systems incorporating PVC, PVDF and Stainless Steel pipework, pumps, valves and dosing systems
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawing and electrical schematics
* Supporting colleagues in the Sales and Project teams to provide technical input in relation to best practice
* Visiting customer sites to support installation where technical input is required
* Guiding and mentoring technical apprentices

Essential Skills/Qualifications
* Time-served Industrial & Commercial Electrician
* Valid ECS Gold Card
* 18th Edition/BS7671
* A keen eye for detail
* Able to interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings/schematics
* Able to work both autonomously and within a team, including supervision of apprentices
* A confident communicator
Desirable Skills
* Basic understanding of PLC systems/ladder logic
* Understanding of fluid handling/pumps/dosing systems
