If you are a Quality assurance technician / QA / Quality auditor looking for a new role please keep reading!
As Quality assurance technician / QA / quality auditor you will help the Quality manager continue to drive quality standards up every day in the factory.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensure safety of self and others at all times, complying with all health, safety and environmental policies / procedures for site
* Conduct routine quality inspections of all finished products packed on site ensuring adherence to site / customers specifications. Entering findings onto site systems to maintain product traceability at all times.
* Responsible for routine start up checks, failsafes and routine testing of metal detection and checkweigher checks of packed stock.
* Liaising with the Shift Manager / Machine Minders / Technical Supervisors if there are any quality concerns in relation to raw material input, packaging or deviation from specification, make recommendations for corrective actions where necessary / applicable.
* Organising and labelling micro samples for routine micro analysis to be sent to the external laboratory.
* Collecting and organising of customer retained samples, as required.
* Supporting the Technical Supervisor during customer and 3rd party visits / audits.
* Supporting the Processing team during hygiene windows cleaning equipment / QA lab. Conducting swab tests (ATP / Allergen) to verify standards, releasing line to production teams.
The ideal candidate must be a Quality assurance technician / Quality auditor / qa in a food manufacturing business currently with a minimum of 1 years experience.
