About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe's latest high speed rail projects.
EKFB are looking for a Drainage Design Coordinator.
We need you to assist the Earthworks, Drainage and highways Engineering Lead for the Highways design routewide (across all sectors). We'd also like you to provide strong support to the discipline lead in the design development within the IDMT for alignment, pavement and other highway related disciplines.
Close liaison with the D&E Section Lead to ensure the delivery on time, optimized and in accordance with the Client's requirements is essential. You'll also need to aid in the study of optimisation/assumptions and liaison with the commercial, planning, design delivery teams, and designers.
Supporting the link and coordination with Construction for management of topics such topographical surveys, and all other issues related with the design development for the highways related disciplines is again an essential part of this role. We need you to help in the management and coordination of the highways Design route wise, with close liaison with other disciplines such as drainage, alignment and earthworks.

About The Candidate
Experience in major civil engineering works
Knowledge of relevant Highways design standards and its applicability for the design
Value engineering and optimisation focussed
Good communication skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Degree or HND in Civil Engineering with appropriate experience
Able to interpret 3D models in CAD
Understanding and management of software related to alignment and pavement design
