Excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a leading restaurant group in Egham on a permanent basis.
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor's degree educated
* CIPS qualifications preferred
* Supply Chain experience ideally within the hospitality or food service sector.
* Strong negotiation skills and track record of delivering great results
* A highly motivated and positive attitude
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, problem solve and work to time sensitive deadlines
* Excellent MS Excel skills are mandatory
* Impeccable attention to detail.
* Tenacious and dogmatic
* Ability to successfully work to and within deadlines
* Hands on experience of working in an operationally multi-site environment
* Experience of working within a cross-functional team
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to learn and develop your skill set within new categories
* Full Driving License
Job Responsibilities
Work with suppliers to provide 100% product availability within our restaurant network and meet changing levels of demand. Build relationships across our supplier network to positively influence.
Responsible for planning, daily management, and reporting of issues across the network of restaurants.
Work with suppliers to supervise inbound deliveries into 3PL (Third Party Logistics) companies, providing adequate levels of stock across the network in line with our business forecast.
Upon any occasion when direct to restaurant deliveries are required, manage suppliers to ensure this is achieved both timely and accurately
Work with 3PL companies to measure and review performance.
Business cost saving initiatives- Support the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager and/or independently challenging costs within the business to find cost savings and efficiencies across the supply chain.
Manage and support day to day communications with our internal and external customers.
Critical path management - ensuring products are available in a timely manner for both product launches and day to day business.
Managing logistics of new product set-up with third party logistics partner or direct deliveries
1. Business partnering with the following functions:
* Operations
* Marketing
* Product Development
2. Complete administrative duties as required.
3. Any other duties as reasonably requested by the business which may not be part of your day-to-day role
