Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a Medium Sized Contractor completing projects within Industrial, Healthcare, Commercial, Residential both New build and Fit Out.
You will be required to prepare tenders for various types of work including new build, refurbishment as outlined. Projects were mainly traditionally procured via competitive tender, with values ranging in value from GBP(phone number removed) - GBP7 million.
You will be required to work closely with senior management team and be involved in the companies' development plans and business plans reporting directly to the managing director. You will commercially manage many of the larger contract, perform most of the quantity surveying functions; including monitoring cash flow, submitting monthly valuations along with internal monthly CVR's and month end reports.
You will obtain quotes and placed orders with sub-contractors and monitored / re-measured sub-contract packages and approved payments. You will also prepare final accounts at practical completion and negotiate on the company's behalf where disputes arise
