The Company
 
Birdie’s Kitchen is a brand-new venture which will soon be opening at the South Devon Steam Railway in Buckfastleigh.
 
We’ll be serving creative, delicious meals using only the best locally sourced ingredients and providing high quality service to all our customers, from the moment our doors open to when our last customer leaves.
 
We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie / Sous Chef to join our team and help make this new venture a success by making our venue a destination for anyone in search of great food and a great atmosphere in this beautiful corner of Devon.

The Role
 
As Chef de Partie / Sous Chef, you will provide support to the kitchen team by preparing and cooking high quality dishes that are delicious and nutritious, ensuring every customer leaves with a big smile on their face (and maybe a satisfyingly full tummy as well?).
 
Using your creativity, and the experience you have already gained in a professional kitchen, you will create meals that showcase the very best locally sourced ingredients.
 
About You
 
To join us as Chef de Partie / Sous Chef, you will need:
 
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
- Flexibility to support our goals - absolute customer satisfaction
- A team spirit and team focus at all times
- A willingness to work weekends
 
We at Birdie’s Kitchen are so excited for our new venue to open and we are looking for team members who will be able to share with us a sense of enthusiasm, eagerness and engagement in delivering the very best food, drink and atmosphere - it goes without saying that our Chef de Partie / Sous Chef is core to achieving this!
