Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a growing and dynamic web company who specialise in marketing higher education.

Based in a stunning three-floor warehouse conversion in the heart of Sheffield's Cultural Industries Quarter, with a flexible working environment (having the ability to work from home when required).

This is a vacancy for a Senior member of the growing Account Management Team. You'll be the first point of contact for many clients - universities based throughout the UK.

The Account Management Team advise & support customers through their student recruitment journey on the company's websites. It involves seeking and nurturing relationships within the university as well as identifying opportunities to develop and grow your accounts. You will sell the best fitting campaigns to help the universities reach their recruitment goals. It could be promoting their open days, scholarships, courses or PhD programs.

Your customers will be UK university marketing teams and the agencies who represent them. Comprehensive training in the products and account management systems will be provided. You will be in charge of creating student recruitment campaigns across various websites, providing top class customer service and working closely with the Client Services team to deliver the campaigns. You will be the main point of contact for the accounts in your allocated regions and when Government restrictions allow, the role will include travel within the UK. Opportunities may also exist to represent the company at exhibitions and conferences or at one of their own education fairs or education marketing seminars.

This is an incredibly varied and rewarding role, which includes (but is not limited to):

* Proactively building relationships with key decision makers and influencers

* Building, progressing, and converting sales opportunities.

* Representing the company and presenting their products effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.

* Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets

* Developing a deep understanding of the higher education system.

What type of person are we looking for?

* Senior Account Managers are ambitious, driven, with an ability to communicate effectively in person, via video on the phone or by email. Articulation is key.

* You'll be confident in building new relationships, listening and taking action.

* The right candidate will be bright, determined and high-energy; able to roll their sleeves up, take on multiple responsibilities, and have a strong desire to positively contribute to the success of the team, whatever it takes.

* This is a sales role and the right candidate must have some experience working in sales, ideally selling marketing solutions.

* Experience working in the higher education sector would be an advantage but is not essential.

Person Specification:

* Demonstrable success and experience working in a sales role. (minimum three-years' experience).

* Demonstrable success in working with key or strategic accounts

* Experience selling marketing or technical solutions and/or working with higher education institutions. (highly desirable)

* Strong time-management, organisational and administrative skills. Ability to prioritise a diverse workload and hit deadlines.

* Problem-solving skills, diplomacy, and a flexible approach.

* Proactive, solutions focussed, plenty of enthusiasm and creativity, with a desire to work autonomously and part of the wider team.

* Personable, presentable and articulate.
