Kinect have an urgent requirement for a GIS Field Surveyor to join the Environmental team on an ongoing contract basis.
As a Surveyor you'll be reliable, hard-working, organised and pro-active, in order to help you manage a busy workload.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous academic or commercial GIS skills (ESRI ArcMap)
* Knowledge of environmental surveys or experience in the field
* Full driving licence
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines. (Essential).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills (Essential).
* Strong MS Excel skills: use of VLOOKUP, IF, and other formula, as well as other excel data tools such as conditional formatting, text to columns etc (preferred).
Duties to include:
* Liaising with the GIS team to create survey maps.
* Attending daily surveyor briefs via MS Teams to provide surveyors with land access information.
* communicating with various client representatives and private landowners for access and reporting purposes. This includes via email, phone calls and MS Teams meetings.
* Using and updating large spreadsheets with survey and land access information
