Supporting many of the leading Formula One Teams as well as other industries, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join us on a permanent and full time basis.
Accounts Assistant
You will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountants with the day-to-day operations and functioning of the accounting department including payroll, as well as supporting them in the production of the Management accounts for some of the Group Companies.
Role activities will include:
* Supplier Payment Runs
* Input of Purchase Ledger Invoices
* Input of Sales Ledger Invoices
* Processing Payments/Receipts
* Bank Reconciliations
* Credit Control
* Journal Postings (Accruals, Prepayments, Depreciation)
* Dealing with Customer/Supplier Requests
* Assisting with Month End Procedures
* Assisting with Year End Audit Preparation
* Assisting with In-house Payroll Preparation
What you will need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess exceptional organisation and time management skills. You will have experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced, challenging environment. You will have strong attention to detail and great interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Knowledge of Sage 50, and other ERP or accounting systems would be beneficial, and a good level of Excel skills and experience is essential.
