As a Barclays Data Analyst with the Chief Data Office, you will be involved in the delivery of the data strategy by driving and delivering compliance of the data management standards. You will ensure the creation and maintenance of Data Models, capturing and establishing lineages between various models, data requirements, and business requirements. You will have an opportunity to utilise your passion for Data Analysis and your excellent communication skills to meet the complex data requirements.

What will you be doing?
• Supporting the relationship with the Data Domain business teams to ensure data standards are part of the domains BAU operating model
• Supporting monthly Data Forums and Council meetings preparations
• Supporting delivery plans of the Data Lineage & Metadata team
• Working alongside other Chief Data Office teams to ensure consistency of approach and front-to-back lineage being delivered including business benefit articulation
• Supporting data governance and quality assurance activities
• Providing project updates and report on progress on data quality and control remediation activities
• Supporting the maintenance of business glossary for Data Domains and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) via the running of annual attestation
• Generating ideas to enhance lineage & metadata tools benefiting Chief Data Office & Domain stakeholders
What we're looking for:
• Understanding of Data Management concepts and relevant experience in data governance and architecture
• Working knowledge of Project Lifecycle methods (e.g. Software Development Lifecycle, Agile) and understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management
• Excellent MS-Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and Visio skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience in Risk, Finance and/or Treasury areas of corporate and/or investment banking
• Understanding of risk systems/ architecture
• Experience of working with distributed teams
