In your new role as Finance Assistant, you will work as part of the accounts department, currently a team of 6, which is part of a large and highly successful family run business. They have over 40 years' experience in their sector. You will work in an open plan office and enjoy a busy varied workload, dealing with a range of responsibilities and meeting deadlines that are a key part of the team and business success.

You will deal with the day-to-day financial administration of purchase ledger transactions. You will have experience with processing a high volume of supplier invoices in Sage 200, along with this you will prepare supplier payments and staff expenses as well as cash allocations for both purchase ledger and sales ledger.

You will have a flexible attitude and will be more than happy to offer a helping hand to your colleagues across the finance team if they need it. You're happy talking to suppliers and internal colleagues to resolve queries.

You are ambitious and eager to learn, developing with this growing business, as your responsibilities will progress.
