Customer Development Manager
Customer Development Manager required for a 13-month contract role with a leading multinational client based in Maidenhead.
Responsibilities
?? Lead and support in development and execution of commercial strategy and projects to deliver growth agenda.
?? Sole responsibility for our largest high street account as well as managing a team of 2 national account managers and the remaining grocery accounts, with the key aim of developing, implementing, and optimizing joint commercial plans.
?? Planning and delivering brand building and sales driving activities including NPD sell ins, promotional activity, ranging recommendations, activations instore and online.
?? Analyzing and reporting customer sales data internally and externally, using insights to craft plans that achieve shared and individual metrics.
?? Leading the monthly S&OP cycle to ensure we manage inventory in order deliver against sales, marketing plans, and new product launches.
?? Managing internal financial activity, in order to track spend with customers, monitor monthly performance against plan and adapt timely to any upcoming gaps or opportunities.
Requirements
?? Educated to degree level - but we're also interested in how you've built and developed your education outside of academia!
?? Experience in hair care or beauty preferred but wider FMCG may also be considered.
?? Demonstrate multiple examples of building collaborative relationships and value creation at multiple levels and across functions within retailer partners.
?? Good understanding and experience of working within UK retail across all/some of High Street, Grocery and E-comm.
?? A track record of consistently delivering against internal and external metrics (both in sales /profitability and market share), as well as sound experience negotiating JBPs, retailer trading terms, NPD sell ins and building annual trade plans.
?? Category and insight led approach to shaping business plans and identifying areas of opportunity to bring value.
?? Strong communication skills.
?? Strong coaching capability to develop both your direct team and others within the wider team.
?? Resilience, agility and adaptability to overcome challenges and unlock new opportunities.
