Graduate Exhibition Designer
Starting salary up to GBP25,000 + Benefits + Career Progression
We are seeking a junior designer to join our existing team, from June 2021. You will have a relevant degree, ideally in architecture or similar, with a minimum of a 2:1.
The right candidate should be talented, motivated and hard-working and have a natural flair for design, spatial planning and a keen eye for detail. Candidates must be confident visualising in 3D and have an understanding of construction methods and materials.
The role of Graduate Exhibition Designer:
Developing and producing exhibition stand designs and 3d visuals using AutoCAD and Viz
Design large format graphics for exhibition stands
Produce technical drawings of custom-built stands for manufacture
Working on-site at exhibition venues to aid the set-up of stands
Working within the design team, you will be producing drawings and graphics for account managers. You will have the opportunity to work on the design, planning and building for a whole range of exhibition stands and displays and this includes being on site to help during set up. This is an office-based role where you will be working alongside the senior designer on a daily basis. This is an ideal position for someone who is keen and interested in learning and developing their skills within the exhibition industry.
You should have experience in the following areas:
Basic understanding of AutoCAD in 2D and ideally 3D
Rendering software such as Viz, 3D Studio Max or similar
Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Large format graphic design and production
Technical drawing
Why join the RDW team:
Established company which has been trading for 40 years

Located in a rural setting with new open-plan offices and views across the Shropshire countryside
Opportunity to progress and take on more responsibility
