Assistant Site Manager
Our client, a specialist fit-out and refurb company, has a major project to oversee the conversion and fit out of a commercial refurb based in Brentwood.
This is a full-time contract role for 4-5 months starting immediately. Working hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm guaranteed 40 hours per week, day rate of GBP170.
The Assistant Site Manager will be responsible but not limited to the following duties;
* Providing full assistance to the Site Manager & Project Manager
* Assisting with the coordinating of commercial refurbishments into dwellings
* Managing site teams
* Assisting with health & safety on site
* Preparation and updating of weekly construction programmes
* Reviewing scopes of work
* Ensuring everyone is sticking to a tight schedule
* Assist in dealing with the maintenance of show houses
* Managing all site resources and reporting on all site activities
* Ensuring a high quality of workmanship that is compliant with specifications
You will need all if not most of the following to be considered for this position;
* SMSTS card, First Aid, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness
* Proven experience working as an Assistant Site Manager
* Experience working on residential/commercial fit out/refurbs or new is essential
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of attention to detail and pride in your work
* Proven people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive teams
