Technical Services Advisor
Our client is a privately owned established & very well respected supplier of innovative building products.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Services Advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Senior Technical Manager with new product development works, as necessary.
To attend product training sessions at the in-house training centre or supply chain premises. Share knowledge with colleagues across the business as appropriate.
Experience:
• Relevant experience in a technically related environment or similar where service delivery is paramount.
• Ideally a strong working knowledge within the flat roofing industry
• Experience of working to deadlines in a busy office environment
• Experience of working in a construction related technical department
• Flat roof refurbishment experience (desirable)
Knowledge:
• Basic knowledge of Building Regulations and/or British Standards associated with the flat roofing industry.
• Good knowledge of flat roof build-ups, general roof assemblies and roofing terminology
• Awareness of general construction techniques and materials
