Axon Moore is currently looking for a high-calibre, Tax Manager to make the next step in their career with a leading Global Technology business based in Lancashire.
This Tax Manager report to the Group Financial Controller, and they will be responsible for all Tax & VAT matters across the business. They will be engaged with a high growth business environment with an operational and business partnering element to the role being crucial. The role will be highly visible as they will head up any internal and external relationships with advisors and HMRC and have close proximity to senior international leadership.
The successful candidate will have the following, demonstrable expertise;
• Strong technical tax skills with up to date knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax legislation
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical matters to non-technical partners
• Good relationship building skills, able to engage with colleagues up to exec level
This role would suit a bright and ambitious tax professional that is seeking to develop a career in a fast-paced business. Whilst prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage, this would also be a great opportunity for a tax specialist in practice to make their first move into industry.
Candidates must be ambitious and technically strong (ideally from an CTA/ACA/ACCA Big4/Top10 background).
