Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer looking to join an expanding industry leader distributor of Volvo Construction Equipment?
Here at SMT GB we are always on the look-out for the best people we are now recruiting a home based Field Service Engineer covering Essex.
The position requires a Service Engineer with:
* Construction, HGV or Agriculture industry experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant machinery
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural or HGV Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills and comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and electronics
* Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
* High standards and attention to detail
You will be required to apply your industry skills and knowledge to make a real impact within the team and business by:
* Identifying mechanical problems using technical knowledge and computerised diagnostic equipment, offering guidance and advice to the customer
* Attending any relevant product or systems training courses to ensure a high standard of competence required to efficiently complete duties
* Work in accordance with Volvo Group UK standards of health, safety, quality and environmental care
