Our client, a Civils/Concrete Works specialist, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a Permanent basis. They cover projects across the whole of the UK.
Between them, the team have over 30 years experience within the Construction/Civil Engineering sectors- working closely with residential, commercial and public sector clients as well as national contractors.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3 years' experience within the Construction industry
* A Degree in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying or equivalent
* Experience in Civils / Concrete Works
Duties will include:
* Maintaining project files.
* Control of Construction Contract Drawings, Programme of Works, Variations Orders, and site check lists as defined in the Integrated Management System.
* Attend site meetings with the Client/Contract Administrator and to report on all matters of importance such as changes to specifications, requirements etc.
* Maintain good customer relations.
* Ensuring scheduling of material requirements to meet specifications.
* Measuring on site.
* Taking off drawings.
* Finalising and agreeing final accounts.
* Reviewing commercial correspondence and contracts.
* Estimating projects
