Smart Solutions are pleased to be working in partnership with our client, whom specialise in providing Expert Witness Reports in Housing Disrepair Claims. There experts are all fully professionally qualified and MRICS or FRICS accredited with many years' experience in residential dilapidations and housing disrepair and are well versed in the relevant areas of legislation relevant to pursuing a claim under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
Your role will be to undertake housing disrepair surveys, both in your region and across a specified region. All appointments will be made for you so that you can focus on attending the property and producing the report.
Typically, our client will cluster appointments in a certain area together to minimise the driving necessary between appointments, this may mean that on some days there may be up to 6 surveys close together whereas others there may be none, giving you time to concentrate on completing reports. As this is a new role to the business, our client will work together to find the best way of working for you.
In a typical week you would undertake 15 surveys spread across 5 days in circuits created for you by the appointment making team. These circuits may involve overnight stays depending on the distance travelled. When working away from home we will aim to maximise your time by completing as many instructions as possible to reduce long driving times as much as possible. On days where you are closer to home the workload may be lighter. This flexibility is designed to ensure both that your health and well-being are maintained, and the number of appointments required can be completed.
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Chartered Surveyor
* Must be qualified as a Chartered Member (MRICS)
* Full UK Driving Licence
