Our client, a Global Manufacturer, is currently seeking a Plant Controller to join their well-established team.
* Do you have a University degree in business or finance or equivalent?
* Are you CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualified?
* Do you have ERP skills preferably (SAP) including business warehouse?
If so, this role could be the one for you!
As the Plant Controller, you will be working closely with the Plant Management team to help improve the Norwich plant performance.
This role is a full-time permanent position.
Main duties -
* Provide insight and challenge to support decision making within the Plant with high focus on manufacturing performance.
* Ensure proper standard cost are implemented and maintained in the Plant (together with the Central Manufacturing team).
* Ensure all postings in the systems are completed correctly and high quality of input and output.
* Assess and identify improvement areas, help Plant Management to determine action plan and organise follow up.
* Assist Plant Management in creation of CARs according to Group rules.
* Maintain the Cost Reduction Database for all Capex, Restructuring and Cost Reduction Projects.
* Support OpEx projects and ensure adherence to CRs/savings.
* Liaise with UK accounting to provide information for Sox controls and provide backup for auditors as required.
* Monitor and analyse results during ME close.
* Provide accurate and consistent comments on the main deviations in Results.
* Ensure good information to be sent into central systems. Validate Plant transactions and initiate corrections if required.
* Ensure Group DOA's are properly implemented and followed in the Plant.
* Manual accrual determination and analysis in ME close (stock provisions, claims) / Rebates under the responsibility of Sales Central team / all other month end accruals given by Plant support.
* Timely reporting with relevant comments on deviations. No direct KPI's, all results mentioned under key responsibilities can be considered as KPI's.
The successful candidate will have a minimum five years' experience in competitive manufacturing industry at a controller level.
