My client, a successful consumer brand based in Manchester is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to cover a fixed term contract, in their Finance team. If you have recent experience working as a Credit Controller, possess strong SAP & Excel skills is a must and you are immediately available to start work, then please get in touch!
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into Finance Manager, to assist in the companies credit control procedures
Manage outstanding customer sales ledger balances
Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email or letters
Provide information for month end reports
Prepare Month end customer statements
Liaise with other departments, sales order team to ensure all customer queries, are resolved in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records
Ensure all cash receipts are posted and allocated
Review and release were necessary all held orders
Highlight problem accounts, as well as changes to payment patterns
Adoc support to the Finance Manager
Skills Required:
Good GCSE's grades C and above
Must have recent experience working in a similar credit control role
Intermediate/Advanced Excel is essential (ie pivot tables, vlookups)
Experience of managing up to 300 UK accounts
Knowledge of rebates & turnover rebates is desirable
Proficient in microsoft office & SAP
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Able to start work immediately to cover this 9 month FTC
