The firm contacts every UK household at least once a week on behalf of the some of the best known and influential global brands.
The Role
Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer is required to join a team, building and supporting applications within a highly commercial environment. You will develop software following good methodologies and best practice in a busy environment, while maintaining good Source Control practices. You will build and support Oracle Applications. Understanding that colleagues in the business are customers, you will adopt a Service Excellence ethos and being able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff, establishing application requirements. Supporting design of simple applications, you will conduct review of supplied specifications as required and will code, test, correct and document more complex pieces of code and provide peer reviews. Provision of Out of Hours (Oncall) support is required.
The Person
You will have extensive experience (3 years+) developing and maintaining PL/SQL applications. Ideally you will have a significant number of the following:
* Oracle APEX 4.2 or higher
* JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, HTML, XML
* Oracle Database 12c or higher
* Experience working in a Scrum environment
* Oracle PL/SQL developer Certified Associate or similar
* Knowledge of data vault 2.0, Snowflake and Power BI
