Position: Wood CNC Operator

Duration: Temporary ongoing

Salary: GBP12.50 per hour

A thrilling opportunity for an experienced Wood CNC Operator to join a well known local company who are experiencing huge growth. These positions are to start immediately. Working in a door manufacturing and / or on a SCM Machine is a distinct advantage.

The Role of the Wood CNC Operator:

Set up and operate CNC Wood machines
Properly and safely load and unload raw materials
Perform tasks such as drilling and milling steel
Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
Read technical drawings and understand specifications
Make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result
Operate manual lathe and drill press as required
Quality check by means of inspecting and measuring productThe Requirements of a Wood CNC Operator:

Proven experience as a Wood CNC Operator
Door manufacturing experience advantageous
SCM Machine experience advantageous
Ability to understand, read and interpret technical drawings
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and schedule work
