Context Recruitment is excited to be working with a British, Family run company, a household name brand who have been around for more than 100 years and are a Leader in their field internationally. Having recently launched a market leading eccomerce platform they are looking to hire a front End Developer to bring the Development in house.
You will be the first hire in the newly formed, growing team and will take ownership over the Front End Development of the platform which is set to revolutionise the industry within which it operates. The business is a true leader in its field and among the most sought-after employers in the UK.
The role will involve conducting system analysis and analysis based on the business requirements, carrying out all development tasks, conducting unit testing, to create user/functional documentation, to work with the Development Manager on task estimates, to raise risks/issues and to contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing across the business.
What is our client looking for?
They would love it if you have the following skills/experience:
2-3 years minimum working as a Front End Developer
Strong JavaScript skills
Experience with React and or TypeScript would be advantageous however not essential
Understanding of accessibility and of building accessibility UI's
Understanding of cross browser testing
Understanding of Azure would be desirable
Knowledge of NodeJS would also be an added bonusWhat do you get out of it?
