Kinetic Skilled and trades are recruiting for Multi Skilled Engineers who are electrically biased to work for a reputable company based in Ellesmere Port. Due to continued expansion and increase in business the Company are seeking Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Engineers. This will be working on a heavy production site.
Hours and Pay
* GBP15.27 (Early Shift)
* GBP15.65 (Late Shift)
* GBP14.77 (Flat Day Rate)
* 0600am - 1400pm and 1400pm - 2200pm (rotating)
* Attendance bonus of GBP25 per week
Main Duties of the Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Engineer are:
* Help guarantee that production downtime is kept to 2% or below through planned preventative maintenance and quick and efficient management of breakdowns.
* Deal with any unscheduled and emergency maintenance work, including all fault finding and necessary repair and striving to identify the root cause in each occasion.
* Ensure that engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the planned preventative maintenance system, scheduling and corrective action is taken when required
* Booking of the work undertaken with duration and materials used through the Company CMMS.
* Ensure that all work is performed in a consistent manner with the high standards required in a food production environment.
* Responsible for ensuring the workshop and individual toolboxes are maintained to the highest standards and in line with Good Manufacturing Practise "GMP" standards
* Identify any improvements that can be made to production lines or individual machinery or other operations.
* Manage stock of supplies and equipment including obtaining any relevant specialist components, fixtures and fittings.
Essential Criteria of the Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Engineer
* Must be a qualified, time served engineer, with previous working experience gained in a Production environment.
* Be confident when dealing with breakdowns and also installations
* Steady work history as an engineer
* Must possess excellent problem solving, team working and interpersonal skills.
* Strong literacy, numeracy, communication and IT skills.
* Must be a flexible individual as some unsocial working hours will be required as well as call outs to operational emergencies.
* Due to the site location own transport is essential.
This is a temp to perm position after 4 months worked.
