Description
The Product Development Engineer will be cover the following:
Product Research & Development
Develop existing products supporting the current product range.
Source multiple suppliers core products to create a system . Example product A + B + C = System AQuality Control
Establish product specifications
Review, improve and maintain manufacturing QC procedures.
Product testing and certificationProduct Sourcing
Should have a wide and varied field of contacts internationally of manufactures of building products and landscaping products.
Experience of sourcing products suitable for the ecommerce market, not necessarily within the building and landscaping sector.Product Design & Innovation
Experience of new product design and development from concept through design to prototype and sourcing of competitive high quality manufacturing.Product Costings
Costing of products to distribution.Profile
You will have previous experience within Product Development within building products and landscaping industries.
You will have a strong network of contacts that you will be able to utilise.
Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role.
Experience of working between product development and supply chain.
Ideally be familiar with selling through distribution.
Job Offer

This role will require some international travel to new suppliers so you must be willing to travel once restrictions lift
