Senior Product Owner, Software, Aviation, SC Clearance
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Owner to join a newly created team, focussed on delivering a suite of software products used within the aviation industry by the emergency services.
As the Senior Product Owner, you will join a small Agile team and take ownership of products across the full life cycle - from requirement gathering and creating business cases, through to release and upwards reporting - the Senior Product Owner will work closely with the internal development team, helping to drive the existing product forwards.
The Senior Product Owner will be joining a software house that develop a variety of market-leading software solutions used by the emergency services and military, applications that have had an enormous impact on society and genuinely saves lives. The company have grown substantially over the last few years and are set to grow even further.
What's required of the Senior Product Owner?
For this Senior Product Owner position, we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the aviation industry. Ideally, you will have worked as a Senior Product Owner on aviation software, however we can also consider candidates who have a keen interest in aviation, such as holding a private pilot's licence. The Senior Product Owner will also have:
• Previous experience acting as a Product Owner / Product Manager with a software product
• Experience working within an Agile environment
• Requirement gathering, writing user stories, managing product backlog, planning sprints etc.
• Experience of working closely with Developers, Testers and business stakeholders
• A CSPO certification or similar would be advantageous
