Are you looking to put your Managerial skills to use? We are looking for an experienced Hotel General Manager to manage a fabulous hotel.

In the role of General Manager your duties will include:

• Setting budgets.

• Managing all aspects of the hotel.

• Developing a strong and successful team in all departments.

• Ensuring excellent guest-satisfaction.

• Ensure effective administrative, monitoring and control procedures with regard to legal requirements, health and safety, GDPR in line with policy requirements.

• Developing a business plan, execute performance targets and monitor standards to ensure positive outcomes.

• Effective management and leadership

• Ensure effective training and development in line with procedures.

• Ensure all new team members receive a high-quality induction plan to allow them to excel in their roles.

• Promote a positive working environment.

• Proactively implement and manage excellent customer service standards and customer service strategies to meet the changing expectations of our customers.

• Develop, monitor and support heads of departments.

To be successful in the post of General Manager you must have:

• Extensive experience in hotel management.

• Experience of managing teams.

• Strong food, beverage and events background.

• Strong business and financial acumen, with a passion for customer focus

• A highly motivated and hands on attitude.

• Attention to detail.

• Problem solving Excellent IT literacy with the ability to successfully navigate differing systems.

• An ability to inspire a team .

• Excellent communication skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a salary of GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 on offer, plus an enhanced performance bonus.
