CSS Recruitment & Training are recruiting for an Box Room Assistant for our Fresh Food client based in Wisbech.
This role is on going potentially leading to permanent with the opportunity in time to progress and move up to the Box Room Supervisor role which will include a pay increase.
Duties and tasks involved
but not limited to-
Labelling finished product and boxes.
Helping to process orders ready for despatch.
Understanding the importance of all product labels prior to labelling product- checking it has the correct batch code, Use by and product ingredients.
Helping organising a small team to ensure they are labelling and checking finished product correctly before being despatched to the customers.
Reporting to the box room assistant / supervisor
After a successful probation period, the responsibilities increase and would include but not limited to -
Organising a small team to ensure the finished product labelling and customer orders are being completed correctly before being despatched to our customers.
Processing orders ready for despatch.
Ensuring all labels are correct for each customer- including the batch codes, use by dates, and product ingredients.
Labelling finished product and boxes.
Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, Assistant Manager and Operations Manager.
Working Hours are Monday - Friday 7am start - 4/5pm finish. (we sometimes finish earlier than this and are sometimes required to work later depending on customer orders) the very occasional weekend may be required.
Hourly pay is GBP9.30 per hour up to 40 hours, GBP13.95 hours
Some Bank holidays are classed as a normal working day but paid at GBP13.95 per hour
